CADCAM One Day Restoration
The E4D Nevo Scanner is an optical impression system using digital technology. It is used to create all porcelain crowns, onlays, inlays and veneers by digital methods and computer design. An intraoral scanner is used after tooth preparation and this information is manipulated by computer software to first design the porcelain restoration and then mill it from a solid porcelain block. This procedure can usually be done in one day and even in one appointment.

DEXcam™ 3 Intra-oral Camera
An intraoral camera will reveal problems such as worn-out, defective amalgam restorations, fractured teeth, decay, open margins on existing crowns, plaque, etc. It is an excellent tool for the doctors to educate the patient and to help photograph problems to aid in billing the patient’s insurance company.
Our cameras allow us to show our patients what is happening with their teeth and gums. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
The Waterlase® has been cleared for hard and soft tissue procedures for both children and adults. Waterlase® is distributed domestically and internationally for both hard and soft tissue dental applications. The Waterlase® system is a revolutionary new dental device that uses laser-energized water to cut teeth. BIOLASE received FDA clearance to market the Waterlase® system for use on hard tissue (teeth) on October 9, 1998. This combination of laser energy and water-spray creates “HYDROKINETIC™” energy, and is a patented technology invented by BIOLASE scientists and engineers.
What are benefits of the Waterlase® ?
The Waterlase® significantly improves patients’ comfort in the dentist’s chair: 98.5% of patients treated with the Waterlase™ system reported no discomfort during the procedure in a randomized, double-blind clinical trial conducted at the University of the Pacific. Because it does not cause heat or vibration in the mouth, Waterlase® may ease the pain and anxiety of patients who fear the vibration and high-pitched whine of traditional drills. In contrast, the Waterlase® makes a gentle “tapping” noise. Waterlase® uses a cool-water spray to cut teeth without generating heat. Conventional drills and lasers can overheat teeth during procedures, inducing discomfort and irreversibly damaging the soft tissue or pulp underneath.
How does Waterlase® work?
The Waterlase® system uses laser-energized water to cut teeth. The Waterlase® emits a laser beam that energizes a highly precise spray of air and water. Water droplets absorb the laser energy and become laser-energized water particles that, when directed at the tooth, rapidly remove enamel, dentin and decay/caries.

We know our patients are concerned about x-ray exposure in our dental office. Your x-rays are taken only as necessary and as recommended by the American Dental Association. However, we have obtained the latest technology for the health and safety of our patients. Our new Digital X-rays reduce the radiation exposure by 90% compared to conventional film X-rays. they are faster and more comfortable than previously possible. Also, since the digital image appears instantly. No developing is required so no chemicals are used that could potentially get released into the environment.
Digital X-rays are a dental technology breakthrough which allows us to utilize an electronic sensor instead of film. These sensors have comfortable rounded edges that produce an image on the computer screen that is as accurate as a conventional dental film and are more diagnostic. The digital picture can be magnified 300 times its normal size to enhance diagnosis, manipulated to correct contrast, and color adjusted to reveal hidden problems.
Titanium implants are produced in accordance with the highest quality and hygiene standards. A gentle surgical procedure is used to place the implants in the jawbone. The implants remain undisturbed for a period of usually 6 weeks (in healthy patients with good bone quality and quantity), while the bone remodels around them, forming a strong biological bond, similar to the bone between your natural tooth roots and jawbone.
Your new replacement teeth, which will be custom made with both functional and cosmetic needs in mind, will be firmly attached to the connector. Fabricating your new teeth involves one or more appointments to ensure proper size, shape, color, and fit.
